"Not just for hipsters" said a review on Yelp.
Also, it came highly recommended by cmliu, who I recently met, so we saved it for a night when beers were in definite order.
Fantastic atmosphere, not pretentious (very key for me) and I wish I could have been friends with the server - she was so upbeat, funny and on the ball with everything.
We love that the beers on tap are on rotation and that you can try a sampling if you don't know what you want.
As a Guinness fan, I wanted a stout, tried the Gritty McDuff's Black Fly Stout which didn't "fly" and then was recommended the Left Hand Milk Stout, which I did enjoy. N tried the Baxter Stowaway IPA which we both found overly bitter and then settled for the Smuttynose IPA, which we've had before and liked.
To start, we got the fish tacos and arugala salad and then for our mains, I was in the mood for some bacon, so ordered the BLT with applewood-smoked bacon, with sweet peh-tater fries, nummy. N ordered the turkey burger; we each failed to notice was the "cranberry-rosemary ketchup". N can not eat rosemary for the life of him, just like I can't eat cilantro.
Our server was gracious about it and offered to replace the entree, but N stuck it out with new buns sans ketchup and worked through it. I heartily enjoyed my BLT. Aside from there being too much dressing in the salad, it was a great dinner, overall. I think for beers, it's a wonderful place to try, with many props to our bubbly server!

Looks like a great spot! my boyfriend also detests rosemary - i think its such a funny ingredient not to like!
Haha, really Daisy, that's so funny. It's definitely a good spot for a pint.
I used to LOVE rosemary. Then I ate too much of it once, and now I can't eat it anymore. Sigh. Looks like a great spot!
I love this place! I've been to a few shows there and it was wonderfully cozy & casual.
