San Diego: Seersucker

Something that's perfect for the hot summer months is seersucker material, a light-weight cotton with a ripply texture. A great example is this gentleman spotted at Chocolat in San Diego.

Also perfectly paired with loafers sans socks.

Is this something you or your man would wear? Seersucker works for women, too.

Nope - my man is way too unfashionable, but I love it. I went to a wedding last year where the dress code was "seersucker encouraged." They're an awesome couple. :)

I love seersucker, especially on men! So quintessentially summer. Reminds me of The Great Gatsby or something :)

I never knew what seersucker was! What a cute name, and the man won't wear this he says it's too metro :( If only I could change his ways...
